2021 has been challenging in many ways, for so many, and it brings us joy when we
hear how the Sanctuary has lifted spirits, incited laughter and brought purpose to people, especially children.
2021 Highlights
Animals: new rescues include Barley aka the Drunken Pig, Buster his bestie, 6 cats & found homes for 22 animals we didn't have space for
Donations: 2021 brought our first corporate donations. T Buckets donated funds collected for the animals at their BBQ, and Purina gifted the cat colony $1000
Events: over 238 people experienced the healing power of Pleasant Pasture through Farm Tours and the 1st annual Women's Twilight Walk
Our favorite story of 2021: Farm Tour Inspires Compassion: 9 year old boy was troubled that the cat colony did not have enough heated cat houses for the winter, and his compassionate heart was stirred to make sure they did! Learn more
