The final 2021 Volunteer Award has been presented - to 9 year old Walter.
The Compassionate Action Award goes to "an individual under the age of 18, that has engaged in compassion inspired work to benefit the Sanctuary or the Sanctuary animals in a powerful manner. You are an inspiration, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for such a compassionate heart!"
Walter inspired us back in November when he made and sold custom bath bombs so he could donate funds to purchase badly needed heated cat houses. Read more here.
It is SO rewarding to see how the Sanctuary is inspiring young people to action and the realization that they have the power to be the change they want to see in the world.
We are excited to begin our 2022 Farm Tours to introduce more children to the Sanctuary animals.
